Richard C. Balough advises start-up, small and medium-sized companies in e-commerce, licensing, trademarks and copyrights, privacy, libel, trade secrets and corporate formation. ABOUT JARED SILVER

An award winning child artist, Jared Silver painted, sculpted, and photographed his way from kindergarten through college. At age 12 he invested 55¢ in a "Kodak Tri-Chem Pack" which allowed him to develop his first roll of film. The simple yet fascinating experience of watching an image of the family dog appear under the dim glow of a small red light bulb launched him on a lifetime journey in photography.

Shooting professionally by age 16, he earned enough dollars to support his photography (and motorcycle) hobbies.
